Located at 1 S Main St, Clawson, MI 48017, Noori Pocha/Chicken - Clawson operates as a korean restaurant serving Clawson in Michigan. Google also lists it under gastropub, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Clawson, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Michigan run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amโ10:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (248) 850-7131. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is nooripocha.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 754 reviews, which is a strong result for a korean restaurant in Clawson and suggests consistent service.
Clawson is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Clawson follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Absolutely amazing experience! Food is delicious we ordered the spicy chicken with cheese, kinchi fried rice, and soondubu. They havr soju slush which is rare around here. The atmosphere is authentic, loud, and energetic. 10/10 recommend to anyone who wants to try some good korean.

This places deserves a 1 star review because you drive 40 minutes and the dine in section is closed. Also they only sell fried chicken on the weekend for carry out. They donโt sell other food items on their menu for carry out on the weekend. This restaurant is Lame and needs improvement! This GAO restaurant is only 10 minutes away from Noori Pocha, GAO restaurant is a better option in my opinion!

Love this place. The dining area had a cool vibe. All the food looks as good as the menu photos. I've been to Seoul several times, and while not as good, it did remind me of my visits to Korea. The bulgogi was amazing - so much flavor, perfectly hot (temperature). The cheese corn was good, could have used just a bit more salt, but none of it went to waste. Mussels were awesome. My only nit is that the chicken wings, while good, were simply too sweet. That level sweet can work, but you HAVE to balance with heat. It tasted like candy.

We LOVE Noori Pocha and feel so lucky to have this gem so close to home. We stopped in and put our name on the list (thereโs almost always a wait especially on weekends, so donโt be surprised). We usually grab a drink across the street at Gusโ Snug, and you can easily keep an eye on your spot on the waitlist from your phone. We waited about 30 minutes and were then promptly seated. The main dining area has a fun, upbeat vibe, but we chose to sit in the takeout area to be seated sooner and it was still a great experience. We ordered the Spicy Chicken with Cheese and the Noori Chicken with Soy Garlic and Magic Sprinkle sauce, and both were AMAZING. The Magic Sprinkle is cheesy and sweet at the same time, and Iโve never had anything like it. Weโve also tried the Beef Bulgogi, which is incredible, and while the Corn Cheese sounds odd, itโs surprisingly delicious. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and kind. We love bringing outโofโtown guests here because it never disappoints. Thank you, Noori Pocha!

Very decent menu, with limited but good Korean choices. Served rice cake in a spicy sauce just to dine in, and they were really good. My group ordered Kimchi, Booldak, Soondubu, and one of them ordered a no meat, no eggs, no mushroom fried rice. All of them were very good, had a street food taste to some of the dishes. The ambience was great, full of Korean pop culture paraphernalia. The drive through a Korean town TV was also a good addition, albeit being a bit commonplace these days week day fun crowd, Soju shots going around and decent fun crowd while we were there. Great location, a must visit in Clawson or in a visit to Detroit.
